What can I do at Bousquet Mountain this summer?
Base Area Concerts
Set against one of the best natural backdrops in Western Massachusetts, Bousquet Mountain has been delivering family fun since 1932. Our Base Area Concerts run every Saturday evening in July and August nestled into the mountainside. Whether you like jazz, southern rock, bluegrass, or Talking Heads tributes, there’s a little something for everyone.
Embrace the festival-feel of Base Area Concerts by bringing your own chairs and blankets, peruse the local vendors tables, or elevate your visit by dining on the deck at Drifters Bar & Restaurant, open to all ticket holders.
Summit Sounds
Our Summit Sounds concert series, running every Thursday night in August and September from 5-9pm, offers a musical experience unlike anything else in the Berkshires. Enjoy a breathtaking chairlift ride up to the summit to listen to live music and watch the sun set on Mount Greylock behind the band.
Grab a craft beverage from Drifters Bar & Restaurant in the Base Area for your chairlift ride or indulge in locally-sourced food up at the summit while swaying to the music. The Summit Sounds concert series is family friendly for all ages.
Private Events
Whether it’s a mountaintop wedding ceremony or an indoor family event, our welcoming atmosphere and friendly, professional staff members are prepared to host all kinds of events. Imagine your perfect day surrounded by mountain views, choosing between indoor or outdoor spaces with in-house catering services and end-to-end event planning support.
Hiking Trails
Starting at the base of Bousquet Mountain, the Mahanna Cobble is a 3.2 mile loop out and back with gorgeous mountain views. Part of the northern end of the Yokun Ridge, the Mahanna Cobble is accessible seven days a week, moderately difficult, and typically takes 1.5 to 2 hours to complete. The trail reaches 800+ feet in elevation with a breathtaking summit view, the perfect mid-hike spot for a picnic.
